Must See Video Viewing: Kalle Mattson’s “Avalanche”

I don’t know really anything about Kalle Mattson, who is a Polaris Music Prize-nominated Canadian musician. But what I do know is that he love rock ‘n’ roll. Or at least rock ‘n’ roll album covers. “Avalanche,” which is quite good on its own, is the title track from his forthcoming EP, due Aug. 21 on HOME Music Co.

But back to the video – it’s an ingenious tribute to album covers in which he “re-creates” 35 famous covers. Well, “famous” is a relative term but I am sure you will be able to identify a good number of them. I won’t reveal what my score was.
