Steven Tyler Goes Country

When Aerosmith came out, there were the immediate comparisons to the Rolling Stones. Particularly with the Tyler/PerryJagger/Richards combos. Steven Tyler has taken another step – rather late in the game – to draw even closer to Jagger by doing a country single. Haven’t heard the single, “Love Is Your Name,” but it would be hard to top “Dead Flowers.” In fact, is seems like the song’s sentiment is the opposite of the Stones’ tune.

Better comparisons probably would be the country turns by rockers like Bret Michaels and Kid Rock. And this shouldn’t be a surprise since Tyler did a Crossroads a while back with Carrie Underwood.
