Super Bowl Shuffle Unlikely Redo

Now that Seattle and Denver have earned their way into the Super Bowl, it’s time to start all of the Super Bowl festivities. One famous bit of Super Bowl trivia – the Chicago Bears’ 1985 rap “The Super Bowl Shuffle” – has been resurrected, and reimagined, by WFPK‘s Sean Cannon. Cannon has assembled an eclectic lineup of participants, which includes My Morning Jacket‘s Jim James, Les Savy Fav‘s Tim Harrington, the Long WintersJohn Roderick, wrestler  Colt Cabana, comedian Scott Aukerman and David Wain (ex-The State and Shaker Hts. expat.). While the rendition is more schoolyard than Pro Bowl performances, it is for a more serious as all proceeds will benefit Reading Is Fundamental.
