Beach Boys and Del Fuegos – Together Again (separately)

Families get together around the holidays. And a couple old musical families announced that they will be reuniting in the new year.
The big reunion news is that the Beach Boys will be recording a new album and touring to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The tour, which kicks off at April’s New Orleans Jazz Festival, will mark the first time Brian Wilson has toured with Mike Love and Al Jardine since 1965.
The other reunion finds the Del Fuegos getting back together for a 12 city run through the East and Midwest (Boston, New York, Cleveland, Chicago, Evanston, Minneapolis, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Kent, Brooklyn and Concord, N.H.). While maybe not a historic as the Beach Boys, the Del Fuegos were a major force in the ‘80s college rock scene.
