High Moon (Records) rising

High Moon Records is a new label devoted to reissuing rare rock from the ’60s and ’70s. Their first two releases are Gene Clark‘s 1977 long-out-print album Two Sides To Every Story and Black Beauty, the previously unreleased 1973 Love album. To celebrate, there will be a very special launch party/concert in Los Angeles at the Roxy on April 29. Gene’s son Kai will lead his band through a set of Two Sides songs as well as other Clark tunes. The surviving members of Black Beauty-era Love band will together – for the first time in 30 years – perform tunes from that record along with other Love songs. Sounds like an interesting evening for rock aficionados.
